Pneuma Property Group completes transformation of leading Teesside accountancy firm’s office space

Pneuma Property Group has just completed an ambitious 3,360 square foot refurbishment of the west wing of the second floor of its recently acquired Central Point office block in Middlesbrough in record time.

The property arm of Middlesbrough-based Pneuma Group, working alongside Chris Poyzer and the team at Projekt Architects, revamped the space within six weeks to provide a revitalised modern and flexible working office for leading Teesside full-service accountancy practice, Beaumont Accountancy Service.

Beaumont Accountancy Service has been operating in the region for over a decade and prides itself on having developed the traditional accounting service into an innovative client-focused practice. The team took up residence in their revamped office space in April.

The Pneuma Property Group refurbishment project team utilised materials with a focus on sustainability, selecting from local suppliers wherever possible. The space also boasts a modern air exchange system which heats and cools the office in a sustainable way whilst minimising overall energy costs.

Tony Todd, head of construction at Pneuma Property Group said: “We were able to complete the whole project in six weeks, with a three-week design period, using local contractors where possible. It’s incredibly important to work with the ethos of providing great terms for subcontractors, especially within the current construction climate.”

Elizabeth Teasdaleand her team at Beaumont Accountancy Services worked with the construction team to reimagine the layout of the space to suit a more modern way of working. She commented, “We’re delighted to get into the new space and are already welcoming clients in to provide a first-class service. The office will give us an excellent, tailored space, not only for our clients, but also for our staff to work from.”

Keith Nicholson, Chief Operating Officer of Pneuma Group, added: “It’s been a delight to work with Elizabeth and her team on the new lease. Thanks to both her and Endeavour Law the lease process was smooth and simple.”

Natalie Kay, partner at The Endeavour Partnership, commented: “It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Pneuma Group on this project. Their commitment to the region and desire to breathe new life into their properties presents a positive outlook for the local economy and we look forward to working with them on future projects.”

Over the coming months the Pneuma Property Group team has further plans to revitalise other areas of Central Point, to modernise and update the office spaces and common areas to provide excellent tenant and visitor experiences.
