Speaker Announcement – Safe Environments
On the 20th of June 2024 Consultive Solutions Limited will be hosting an event at St. James Park, the home of Newcastle United.
The event is focused on the Development of Safer Environments, from concept, through planning and design, to the user experience. Whilst security tends to be a focal point, the development of a Safer Environment is not met by simply securing an environment. The event aims to provide guidance, pass on knowledge, and experience and introduce some key considerations for now and the future.
The event will be hosted by Derek Scott, Managing Director of Consultive Solutions and supported by key note speakers from areas of expertise in Development and Planning, User Experience Development and Design, and the Terrorism Protection of Premises Bill (Martyn’s Law).
We are delighted to announce Marina Milosev, Team Lead (Planning Policy & Decisions Team) from London Legacy Development Corporation as one of our key speakers for our upcoming event, Developing Safer Environments.
Marina is a landscape architect and an urban planner with experience in the built environment sector across a range of specialist areas such as planning policy, development and urban regeneration. She is a passionate advocate for designing cities that are equitable for women, girls and gender diverse people.
Over the past three years, she has been leading a pioneering and award-winning research project that aims at generating evidence and developing guidance for built environment professionals on how to design cities that are more inclusive, safer, and equitable for women and girls, recognising that places which are more inclusive for women become more equitable for everyone. This work has gained recognition, resulting in Marina’s nomination as one of The Planner’s Women of Influence 2024.
Join us on 20th June at St James Park, Newcastle, as Marina shares her planning and policy insights and invaluable knowledge.
A hosted screening of the England vs Denmark Euro 2024 match follows at Shearer’s Bar within St. James Park.
