Shine a Light on Mental Health: Join CNTW Charity’s New Corporate Partnership Programme

A new opportunity has launched for North East businesses to support NHS mental health services across the region—and it’s one that’s already changing lives.
Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust Charity has unveiled its brand-new Corporate Partners Guide, aimed at inspiring local companies to get involved with the Trust’s charitable work. The charity raises funds to enhance care for patients living with mental health issues, learning disabilities and neurological conditions—going above and beyond what NHS funding can provide.
From funding therapeutic tools for dementia patients to supporting innovative recovery programmes, the charity’s SHINE Fund has already backed over 120 projects across the region in the last year alone. Now, with the help of local businesses, they’re aiming to do even more.
Businesses of all sizes can get involved—whether through staff fundraising, payroll giving, product tie-ins, or choosing SHINE as Charity of the Year. Partners benefit from increased brand visibility, stronger community connections, and the knowledge they’re making a genuine impact.
“We’re proud to work with amazing businesses like our local Starbucks, Stagecoach and Barratt Developments,” said Sharon Brennan, Charity Communications Manager. “Together, we’re creating brighter futures for people across the North East and Cumbria.”
