This weekend was a busy and exciting one for our community, filled with both competitive sports and incredible fundraising efforts.

Wynyard Under 8s Football Team

Our Wynyard U8s made their season debut with a tough match that ended 9-3. Though the team faced a difficult challenge, they played with passion and displayed some promising moments. Despite the scoreline, there were instances of brilliant teamwork, and the kids showed remarkable determination. We are proud of their efforts and can’t wait to see them signing on for another season of fun and learning.

Sedgefield Under 13s

In a thrilling first home game of the season, the Sedgefield U13s fought hard in a fast-paced and high-scoring contest. The game ended 8-6, with both teams demonstrating an impressive ability to find the back of the net. It was a closely contested affair, and though our team didn’t come out on top, their fighting spirit was on full display throughout. The excitement in the stands mirrored the energy on the field, and we look forward to their continued progress as the season unfolds.

Great North Run Achievements

Over the weekend, Outrank’s own Linz and Jordan from our SEO team took part in the Great North Run, each achieving personal bests. But it wasn’t just about the times; both runners were raising awareness and funds for causes that are close to our hearts. Jordan ran in support of Dementia UK, a charity dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by dementia. Linz completed the race for the Headlight Project, an organisation that supports those who have lost loved ones to suicide. Their efforts go beyond physical achievement, highlighting the importance of giving back to our community in meaningful ways. We couldn’t be more proud of their dedication.
