We’re proud to share some exciting news – Outrank has officially been listed among the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025.
This isn’t just good press; it reflects our commitment to building a workplace where people feel valued, trusted, and supported.
What the Recognition Means
Outrank was selected in the “Best Small Companies” category, which recognises businesses with 10 to 49 employees who go above and beyond for their teams. With 44 staff and a growing office in Middlesbrough, we’re thrilled to be part of a national list highlighting workplaces that genuinely look after their people.
The Sunday Times partnered with WorkL, which surveyed our team anonymously across six areas of employee happiness:
Feeling appreciated
Team and individual pride
Open communication
Responsibility and trust
Overall wellbeing
Satisfaction with their role
Scoring high across all six shows, we’re not just talking about putting people first we’re doing it.
Built on Trust and Flexibility
We’ve never believed in a one-size-fits-all approach to working. Whether it’s remote options, mental health support, or private healthcare, we’ve made real investments in helping our team work and feel well.
“Being named one of the best small companies to work for in the UK is something we’re incredibly proud of,” said founder Stephen Robinson.
“It’s proof that the team culture we’ve built matters and it works.”
More Than Just Perks
This award comes from doing things that make a difference to real people’s lives, like:
Electric vehicle and tech salary sacrifice schemes
Share options through EMI so the team grows with the business
A Zen Room and Podcast Studio in our new HQ
Regular recognition, including Employee of the Month
We’ve also expanded into a larger space to give our team more room to think, collaborate, and snack.
“People are the foundation of everything we do,” said Francesca Kosina, Operations Director at Outrank.
“This award backs that up and pushes us to keep improving.”
Why It Matters for Business
It’s not just about feel-good moments. Research shows companies with strong employee engagement see better performance across the board. It’s good for culture, and good for growth.
Motivated people bring fresh ideas
Recognised people stay longer
Supported people achieve more
That’s why we do it.
