Discounted Mental Health First Aid with free coaching

As a new member to North East Chamber of Commerce I wanted to offer something different. I am delivering a

• 2 day Mental Health First Aid course
• 11th and 16th May from 9-5.
• RRP is £325 but book and pay before 31st March 2023 all NEE Chamber of Commerce members I am reducing it to £250 with a one hour free coaching session to discuss how your new Mental Health First Aider can embed what they have learnt throughout your business. If you put 2 employees on the course you get 2 hours coaching!

As an MHFAider® you will be able to: 

• Recognise those that may be experiencing poor mental health and provide them with first-level support and early intervention 
• Encourage a person to identify and access sources of professional help and other supports 
• Practise active listening and empathy 
• Have a conversation with improved mental health literacy around language and stigma
• Discuss the MHFAider® role in depth, including boundaries and confidentiality
• Practise self-care 
• Know how to use the MHFAider Support App® 
• Know how to access a dedicated text service provided by Shout and ongoing learning opportunities with MHFA England
