Hargreaves Expands its Waste Management Team

Introducing Danny McShane – Business Development Manager, South of England

Hargreaves is pleased to welcome Danny McShane, who joined the business in February 2026 as Business Development Manager for the South of England. Danny plays a key role in supporting customers with their waste management, recycling and disposal needs, bringing a strong operational background gained across the UK — including significant experience working within Scotland’s waste and environmental services landscape.

Danny has managed hazardous waste operations through Veolia, coordinating services across both England and Scotland and working within differing regional regulatory frameworks. His background also includes electronic recycling, reuse and recovery, along with time on Biffa’s Projects & Innovation team, where he contributed to bespoke waste management solutions used across multiple UK regions, including Scotland’s public and private sector markets. He has also overseen large operational contracts involving plant, equipment, staffing and site compliance in varied environments.

This breadth of experience strengthens Hargreaves’ ability to support customers not only in the South but also in regions such as Scotland, where regulatory expectations and service requirements continue to evolve.
