Chamber members chosen to represent North on international trade mission to Ireland
TWO North East Chamber of Commerce members have been selected to represent the region on a Northern Powerhouse trade mission to Ireland later this month.
Search Engine Marketing specialists ROAR Digital Marketing and PR and marketing agency 32West will join a select delegation of businesses from across the North of England on a business development trip organised by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT).
The mission takes place at the end of September and will see delegates spend time in Dublin at a series of specially arranged events.
ROAR, which specialises in Search Engine Marketing services particularly SEO and PPC solutions, will be represented by Managing Director Michael Knowles, and Director James Higgins will attend on behalf of 32West, which offers services in PR, social media, videography, graphic design and digital marketing.
Michael said: “According to the European Commission, the Irish economy will experience the second highest growth rate in Europe this year, and there are opportunities for some exceptional delegates travelling from the North to play a big part in accelerating this business growth.
“ROAR Digital Marketing already works with some groundbreaking companies across international markets and we are excited at the prospect of boosting the performance of Irish businesses by implementing our top level SEO strategies.
“We are delighted to be joined by 32West with whom we have formed an excellent partnership since meeting at a Chamber event earlier this year, and we look forward to sharing our combined knowledge with a wider audience.”
James said: “Ireland’s economy is growing at the fastest rate per capita of all the 27 EU member nations and there’s a clear demand for the type of expertise that the Northern delegates’ businesses are able to offer.
“From a 32West perspective, we already work with clients to achieve exposure for them at regional, national and international level – and that’s across multiple sectors. So we very much feel we have a great proposition for Irish businesses.”
The DBT supports UK businesses in their efforts to sell their goods or services to overseas markets.
The trade mission will include a meeting with the British Embassy in Dublin along with a series of sessions at the Guinness Enterprise Centre
The delegation will be accompanied by an international trade advisor, who will oversee activity in Dublin with colleagues from the DBT.
