TV Traitors joins North East murder mystery company
A POPULAR Traitor from BBC’s hit TV show The Traitors is joining forces with North East murder mystery company, Tall Tales Mysteries.
Amanda Lovett was much-loved by her fellow contestants and viewers alike in the reality TV show. Since then she has been nominated for Reality TV Personality Of The Year at the National Reality Television Awards and Celebrity Of The Year at the National Diversity Awards.
The show plucked three contestants out of the 22 playing the game and made them traitors. It was their role to “murder” the other players, throwing them off the show and Amanda, together with Wilf and Kieran, made it through to the final where a cash reward awaited.
Now Amanda has decided to turn her hand to performing murder mysteries and she is joining the cast of Tall Tales Mysteries, a group based in County but performing all around the North East and further afield for private events, corporate functions and public events too.
Tall Tales Mysteries creator and writer, Sara West, is now developing a brand new murder mystery for Amanda together with her regular cast. Titled A Traitor Among Us, Amanda will play one of the murder suspects in a Traitor-style game that will be an immersive experience for the fans of the show.
Sara said: “The story is a completely fictional plot with a killer stalking contestants of a reality TV show and removing them from the competition by bumping them off.
“Guests at our murder mystery night will be working out whodunit. It might be the character that Amanda is playing but it might not. I’m not giving away the secret.”
Guests at the events where Amanda will be appearing will have the chance to chat to her afterwards just as the Tall Tales Mysteries cast always do so if you’re a fan of The Traitors and Amanda you’ll have a chance to get a photo with her too.
Joining a murder mystery company is the perfect collaboration for Amanda as she was scheming with fellow traitors to “murder” other contestants on the show.
She even selected one “murder victim” and sealed their fate with a kiss on the cheek.
Amanda said: “I’m excited to join Tall Tales Mysteries and to become involved in a murder mystery. I’ve always loved the concept of a murder mystery, the deception and lies and the twists and turns. I can’t wait.
“The cast have made me feel so welcome.”
